There’s a new update coming to Instagram that could have a massive affect on the way you advertise.
Stories have become one of the top viewed content delivery options on social media, which is why every network now has their own version.
They have become a key strategy for product sales because of the ability they have for seamless product integration. They also have become extremely powerful because of the way it allows for a sense of community to be developed.
Both are due to the fact that when you post on stories it’s easier to show BTS, which allows for people to 1. Feel as though they know you, and 2. Allows for easy subliminal advertising (having a product in the background etc.).
So, what’s happening with stories…. They are being shortened.
Basically, Instagram will “condense” all of your stories, only displaying your first 3, Unless you get your consumers to change their settings to “show all”. But since you are unable to ensure people remember to do this, just keep in mind to make your first 3 slides, the most powerful and influential.
