So it did not seem unusual on that fateful day of December 10th, 2015, when Petr prepared to take a four-day excursion away from his base, that militant government officials had plotted to capture and incarcerate him on baseless and non-defensible grounds. Petr faced the unimaginable while every precept, standard of faith, and conviction was tested to the limit. He would thereby act upon and demonstrate every truth of Christ’s selfless teaching while being brutally tortured for his well-known stance and beliefs.
